That’s a good question. If you are alone in China and wanted to go out, maybe this kind of service is not too bad. What do you really get with a rentable girlfriend? In the video from Asian Boss, Kei showed everyone how it works from the onset. From finding a girl from an app, how to avail, and until how it goes. Kei mentioned that when searching for an instant date, you need to install a certain app on your smartphone. Although, Kei did not mentioned the name of the app. Certainly, from the video, it’s not WeChat. Too bad.
Not only the video shows Kei’s actual experience but it also gave us an insight of how do whole thing works. Imagine, you will be with someone who is not your actual girlfriend. A total stranger. Your only reference are the information you see in the app. You are not even sure if the data there is reliable or made up information just for the profile. But the app does have a ranking for each rentable girlfriend in China. Just trust the ranking and reviews. And before I forget, if you don’t know how to speak Chinese then look for an English speaking girl.
In the video, it’s not all about having fun and the experience. Kei managed to get a very informative interview with her instant girlfriend, Zhuang Zhou. Awkward as it may seem, well Kei did it. Zhuang Zhou was able to share some actual and real experiences about her work. And even shared the hard truth that sometimes there are indecent proposals like special services. You already know what it means. Also, some incidents that such job can be dangerous.
