A fat person might be the happiest person on the planet while a fit one might still be struggling with the smile. It all lies in your mind. You might have everything in the world, but the constant debate with mind shall never settle down. It takes a second to let the negative things impact you, but it takes a newer outlook to see the brighter side of life.

A bad mental condition is not a disease but a condition that requires high amounts of self-optimization for introspection. However, many tend to ignore this fact and equate their mental health to the call of destiny. It could be due to anything, financial debt, emotional stress, grief or loss of someone dear to you.

On the other hand, many are still skeptical about their mental conditions and resort to the psychiatrist to get their inner demons out while some try to get high on anti-depressants. And if allowed, this condition overpowers one mind, you will see that person sampling leading a life like a living corpse. People tend to go through sleepless nights, suicidal attempts, irritability, reduced performance efficiency, and much more.

Instead of spending your precious bucks on those temporary medicines and long sitting sessions. Here are a few tips that you can inculcate as your habit to have your health blooming.

1. Do not forget who you are

A simple synonym to this is to value oneself. There all types of people in the world- motivators, degraders, pessimistic, optimistic but their nature should not be a concern for you unless you allow their synergies to affect you.

A person as a whole is made up of his attributes and values and should not let someone else superimpose theirs on them. You need to know your worth. You are not inferior to anyone, and if someone makes you feel so, stick to your principles and values. They will help you reach your final destination, contented.

2. Your body is a temple

Self-care is a must to help keep oneself happy. Grooming one’s own body parts makes you admire your features more and more. You feel confident and develop that self-confidence to face the world. The more you keep yourself updated, the more you gain that self-belief to answer the world.

Spend at least one day a week in those parlors to pamper yourself. Experiment with your looks. From styling that messy hair to buying those expensive clothes, for once do something that makes you happy and is not accustomed to any rules and regulations. A simple hairdo can gift a great lift to your personality. No matter what age group you belong to, go through every root source of styles to fit in that modern society with your looks.

3. Positive people are the best friends

Do not surround yourself with the negative people who are more focused on finding your mistakes rather than helping you overcome your flaws. Be friends with the ones who are there to tickle the creative side of your brain and not with the ones who tend to push you back from creativity.

A positive person is high in spirits and can infuse the same outlook in you. With them, the failures automatically seem to be the stepping stones to success, and the feeling of a looser eradicates.

4. Stress Management

Many a time we have actually thrown things from our house out of that extreme stress which seems to envelop our minds from all sides. There are a lot of emotions that people hide in them. Slowly they keep on drowning in the layer of scum created by them.

While dealing with such circumstances, it is important that you write your feelings somewhere to prevent their build-up inside. Crying is not a sign of weakness but a method for reducing that stress. It makes smiling easier. Talk to your dear ones about your problems. Even if they have no solution, they have a helping hand to lend.

5. Realistic Goals

Many a time, we fail to judge our own potentials, and we end up setting goals that are far beyond our reach. This leads to disappointments. The catch here is to set one long term goal.

But at the same time, design a couple of short-term goals that are there to serve as the staircase for your destination. Do not overstress yourself attaining that portion which is not in your favor.

6. Meditation

This is one activity which probably everyone knows but fail to implement it. Many complaints of time constraints for not fulfilling it. But taking out half-hour for introspection of your own self is not tough.

Meditation is extremely necessary for calming your stressed-out nerves of the brain, to help you connect to god spiritually, to learn the art of focus and silence. It makes you wise and cures insomnia too.

7. Abstain Yourself from Drugs and Alcohol

Consumption of liquor is bad; we all know, but how many of us follow this? Drugs might give you temporary relief to you, but it is not a permanent solution. It makes you addictive, and you end up losing your focus from all the important tasks.

Apart from this, do take out time to admire the beauty of nature. It makes you more passionate and optimistic. Do take out time for physical activity. It will act as the best stress buster in your daily routine. Last, find happiness in every small thing you encounter. It worth the time. Remember you only live once, why waste in frowning.
