What kind of guest post are we looking for?
BugThinking.com is mainly a technology niche blog site. Our team’s focus is to provide “evergreen contents” for our readers.
Why do we want evergreen contents?
An evergreen article can last for a very long time because its definition won’t change – if it does, it can be very minimal.
If you are following what we mean, it is the same thought and direction we would like if you will submit a guest post to us.
A few guidelines so that we can accommodate your guest post
If you want to be part of our content contributors or submit a one-time article, here are some high-level guidelines which we strictly follow:
- You can browse our archives to give you an idea of what kind of topics we only post in our blog;
- We encourage our contributors to write contents with rich quality, engaging, and adds value to our readers;
- We prefer that you are an experienced blogger/writer who wants to share their work with our readers.
- The topic(s) that we can accept should be anything under the following categories
- Reminders and guidelines when submitting a guest post
- We love contents with very good Quality – the content should contain a minimum of 700 words. A gibberish way of writing will be automatically disapproved. Also, the content should be well-formatted and the details are not half-cooked information. We don’t take fake or unverified information – even biased content unless it is a review;
- Originality is a must! Once an article is submitted, we proofread and scan the Internet for any duped or plagiarized content. We don’t want to take credit from someone’s hard work;
- A citation is another a must consideration! If you refer to some external sites or quote someone, please ensure that they are properly cited to give credits back to them;
- Add related videos, images, and/or screenshots to support your content – especially for tutorial articles. But do not add any media content just for the sake of adding an image. Moreover, we don’t tolerate stealing of images! You can download and get free images from Pixabay or Flickr and just add credits.
- We ONLY allow self-promotion, which means people who are building a profile. This is something NOT NEW to us where guest bloggers will submit articles but only to promote their client’s website or their own business. We DO NOT allow any backlinks or some sorts without checking. All external links are automatically set to “nofollow” attribute. So if you are submitting content for promotion, then you have to directly contact us.
- Copyright violators will be automatically ignored and banned!
- Author-bio is automatically set to the owner of Bugthinking.com. In case, you want to use your own author bio then send us the following details:
- Full Name
- Preferred alternate name/Nickname
- Valid email address
- A short description of you – this will appear in the author bio.
- Title of the article you’ve submitted so that we can link your author bio
